Playing
some of the most memorable music of the last 30 years, Acousticity
consists of three guys making a lot of noise. Doug Wilkin, Nathan
Santos and Mark Weakland sing lead and harmony as well as play two
acoustic guitars, acoustic upright bass, harmonica and percussion (they
also juggle poodles and drink beer while performing). Wow! The group
cites rock, folk and jazz as influences; they play the music of The
Eagles, The Grateful Dead, James Taylor, Marvin Gaye, Barenaked Ladies,
Dave Matthews, Paul Simon, Joan Osborne, to name just a few, as well as
original music.
Acousticity has performed throughout Western Pennsylvania in such venues
as Seven Springs, The Beehive, Johnstown Folk Festival, Margaritiville,
Hidden Valley and The Mountain View Inn.
